mapWe invite you to join us for a 10-night stay in Montecarotto, The Marche. You will enjoy a unique cultural experience in a small Italian village.

Experience an 11 day snapshot of Italian life during the colourful autumn season.

Arrival date is 29 September 2010 and departure date is 7 October 2010.

Whether you are a photographer or interested in a unique Italian experience of food, culture and lifestyle, the Italy Autumn Harvest Photo Tour is for you.

Your tour hosts, John Doogan, FNZIPP, and Jacqui Walker are experienced travellers and will ensure you have every opportunity to take photographs, stay in superior accommodation and experience Italian lifestyle off the beaten tourist track. John and Jacqui speak Italian, so communication is no problem and they can guide you in all situations.

This tour is for digital photographers interested in landscape and travel photography. Tuition, both individual and group, will be offered on software techniques using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom. The level will be tailored to meet individual needs, so there will be something for everyone, from amateurs to professionals.

This tour is for those who love Italian food. You will find out about grape harvest, truffles, mushrooms, berries and much more. There will be festivals associated with food and wine, including opportunities to taste and buy.

This tour has many benefits. You will enjoy cultural experiences that are not available to most tourists. The weather will be warm, but not overpowering. Your hosts will ensure you enjoy living in a small, rural setting where the local shopkeepers will be pleased to meet you and help you. The grape harvest occurs in this period, and you will have an insight into the traditions and festivals that occur during harvest. Language will not be a problem as John and Jacqui speak Italian. The photographic opportunities will be enhanced by local knowledge and previous visits to this beautiful territory. You can easily incorporate additional travel in Europe using Ancona as your port for ferries, trains or flights.
