Here's a book I put together called 'La Strada', or 'The Street' in English. It is a collection of mainly street scenes, in black and white and taken throughout Italy. I plan to follow this with a book of Italian landscapes in colour.
The movie above illustrates the 6 January festival 'Pasquella' held in Montecarotto. Bands of musicians walk up from all sides of the village in the morning and gather in the main piazza around mid-day for a big jam session. At night there is a free concert in the beautifully restored theatre. Sound was recorded live on a cell phone.
